New COVID Rules in New York State affecting Musicians

Hey there folks,

New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo has implemented new COVID laws.  The rule says that all events for which people need to buy tickets at bars to see a music performance are prohibited. And it bans bar owners from collecting “cover charges” at the door. Often, that is the way venues pay the bands they hire to entertain patrons. Venues also can’t advertise live entertainment.
