Wow ! 22 years ago I saw the coolest band I had ever seen. They had great songs with great hooks, cool stage presence, and that magic a band needs to be great.
I was playing in hair metal cover bands, not really writing songs, just playing live.
On Long Island covers were king, but the band I was digging was doing originals. Maybe they threw in a cool cover just to mix it up, but these were cool Stones songs, maybe a punk tune, but never pandered to the cover scene.

This Band was Grimm Jack, and all I wanted to do was been in that band.
As fate would have it, they needed a new singer and they came to see the band I was in to check out our singer. I found out later, they were impressed with me. They thought I was the blonde version of their guitar player at the time. The singer in my band at that was my good friend Chris Antos- who you can check out at http://www.acdctributeband.com/

Jump ahead a year. GJ , has a new singer, Billy Kohout. My band is opening for GJ and Billy and I do not click back stage…… I am pretty sure he thought I was a poser, and with my big hair and make up he may have been a little right.
A few month later I was called to come and audition for the band. I was so freaked!! I couldn’t wait!

I get the gig!! We play a show 7 days later and we rock!! I make life long friends and brothers by choice!!

Cut to 20 years later, GRIMM JACK IS BACK and ROCKING

Hey... Donnie The Webmaster here. Welcome to the blog. We decided rather than have a message board on the site, we'd set up a weblog instead. We figured it would give all the members of the band a chance to sound off about gigs, music, and whatever else happens to cross their minds as the return of GJ takes shape.
